We’re bringing gender diversity to the trucking industry. 2nd Chanz Truckin Academy invests in women in trucking. Gender diversity fuels innovation as well as bring new perspectives. And we’re proud to provide women the necessary driving skills through our CDL training.

Not only are women breaking barriers every day, but 2nd Chanz Truckin Academy is led by school director, Kelly Holmes. She’s always been a phenomenal advocate for women in trucking.

There’s a record number of women in trucking. And these female truckers are changing the face of an industry historically dominated by men. In fact, women now make up 10% of all truck drivers in the United States. But there’s still a significant shortage of drivers in the industry. Additionally, carriers are realizing that a fleet with women has many benefits.

2. Studies show that women engage in less risky driving, and value team goal achievement.
3. Females are 20% less likely to be involved in a crash compared to men.
4. On average, women log more miles per year than men.
